2012 Great Plains Golf Expo Was a Hit!

This year, nearly 6000 attendees showed their support for the Great Plains Golf Expo hosted by the SDGA and with the help of our corporate sponsors and attendee's we were able to raise over $11,000 for The First Tee of South Dakota.

Here are just some of the highlights of this years event:

• Title Sponsor Sanford Health performed 50 heart and 32 vascular screens
• Royal River gave away 20 new putters and 3 new sets of Taylor Made irons
• Avera Health qualified 200 participants to putt for $10,000
• Austad's had over $200,000 in merchandise on display and entertained all with their fashion show, educational seminars and manufacturer's demonstrations
• Over 3500 FREE rounds of golf were given away by Dakota Golf Management
• Schoeneman's and The River of Hope raised $2000 for cancer patients & their treatment at the Best Putter in South Dakota Contest
• Local and regional PGA Professionals gave over 150 FREE lessons
• At the Grey Goose simulators 4 participants won $200 each from Sportgames for their Long Drive and Closest to the Pin skills
• 2500 FREE annual subscriptions were given away
• $15,000 in door prizes were given away to attendees
